Thanos Hotels & Resorts is proud to announce that two of its Cyprus properties, Anassa and Annabelle, are among the best resorts in the Condé Nast Traveller Readers' Choice Awards 2026. Both were recognised by readers of the UK and US editions of the publication.
The 2026 Rankings
Anassa ranked #10 in the Rest of Europe category of the UK Best Resorts in the World list. Annabelle ranked #10 in the Rest of Europe category of the US awards. Anassa also placed #18 in the Rest of Europe category of the US awards.
A Portfolio Recognised by Travellers
The Readers' Choice Awards are decided by the travellers who vote each year, which makes them one of the industry's most trusted measures of guest experience. Having two properties ranked in the same year shows the consistency of the hospitality across the Thanos Hotels & Resorts portfolio. It also highlights the growing international appeal of Cyprus as a luxury destination.
Two Distinct Experiences in Paphos
On the northwest coast near the Akamas Peninsula, Anassa offers a secluded retreat above Chrysochou Bay. In the heart of Paphos, Annabelle combines a seafront setting with easy access to the harbour and the town's heritage. Each has its own character, and both share the warm hospitality that defines the group. We thank every guest who voted and our teams, whose dedication made this recognition possible.
