After obtaining a double major in Economics and Political science in the USA from Brandeis University, and an MBA at London Business School, Thanos went straight to work for the family business and was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Thanos Hotels in 1993. From 2017 - 2023, Thanos was President of the Paphos District Branch of the Cyprus Hotel Association, and he is currently President of the Pancyprian Cyprus Hotel Association. As the visionary for Thanos Hotels, he also has overall responsibility for the group, working closely with other family members and the senior management team at the hotels. Thanos is driven to constantly improve and enhance the team’s professional experience in order to motivate them to deliver their best.
