The Thanos Hotels team took part in the Joanna Sophia Fun Run/Walk in Paphos on Sunday 25 October 2026, joining the local community for a 5km route at sunset. The event was held in memory of Joanna Sophia Ioannou and raised support for SUDEP awareness and epilepsy research.
A Shared Cause Across Our Properties
Colleagues from across the Thanos Hotels family walked and ran side by side with hundreds of others from Paphos. It was a simple idea: one town, one evening light, one reason to come together. For a group with deep roots in Paphos, being part of moments like this matters as much as anything we do inside our hotels.
Two First-Place Finishes
The day also brought two proud results for the group. Rupesh Ale from Annabelle was the first man across the finish line, and Michella Salvini from KULT Boutique was the first woman to finish.
Thank You
Our thanks go to the organisers, volunteers and everyone who joined in and made the day possible. Every step helped bring more attention to SUDEP and to the research that can make a difference for families affected by epilepsy.
