The most productive industry conversations are rarely the ones scheduled in advance. On Tuesday morning, Thanos Hotels & Resorts hosted a journalist breakfast at the London offices of Perowne International, an opportunity to bring two significant developments in front of the travel media.
Natasha Michaelides, Corporate Director, and Elena Michael, Director of Sales, led the discussion, covering two milestones that reflect the group's continued momentum.
Anassa, the group's 166-room luxury resort on the Akamas Peninsula and a member of Leading Hotels of the World, is currently undergoing renovation. The project reflects the group's long-standing commitment to reinvesting in its assets, ensuring that each property continues to meet the standards that define the Thanos portfolio.
Alongside Anassa, the conversation turned to Palm Beach Resort, a mixed-use luxury development on the Larnaca seafront, currently in pre-opening and set to welcome its first guests in 2027. Under full management by Thanos Hospitality Services, Palm Beach represents the group's most ambitious development to date and a strategic expansion into one of Cyprus's most dynamic coastal markets.
Both announcements generated strong media interest, a reflection, perhaps, of what the industry already knows: when Thanos Hotels & Resorts builds something, it is worth paying attention.
