Thanos Hotels is proud to announce that it will provide consultancy services to Berengaria Hotel, which is currently being restored to its former glory. Thanos Hotels will advise architects and designers on all features, amenities and technical requirements. In addition, Thanos Hotels will manage the operation of the hotel once it reopens in Spring 2026.
The hotels will have 30 rooms and suites and a state-of-the-art spa. Renovation of the hotel in Prodromos, at an altitude of 1400m in the Troodos mountains, is already well underway. The stone-built mountain hotel opened in 1931 and closed in 1984. Once the most luxurious hotel in Cyprus, it was named in honour of Queen Berengaria, wife of Richard the Lionheart, who was married in Limassol in 1191.
